Trust issues or How do we fight anxiety?
12.05.2021

This is more of a flow of thoughts rather than an informative post, to be honest. For my more than a decade of experience in helping couples become parents there was one thing that I’ve always felt vulnerable to. And that thing is the extreme anxiety of couples who address surrogacy.

The problem is not anxiety itself. It is totally understandable taking into account through how much some couples go before they see no other choice as surrogacy. But the impact it has on the whole process is actually huge.

Anxiety makes all the answers to be questioned and sees each temporary obstacle as a bad sign, it starts controlling the couple’s behaviour and all facts are being interpreted as in this or that way leading to fatality. How do we help our couples cope with that? Can we actually do it?

Do we even care, some may ask….

We do. Hence the more frequent ultrasounds, more tests for surrogate mothers, more calls and conversations, longer mails with detailed explanations, more internal consultations and double checking everything. Showing them the stability and certainty they don’t have, letting them see that we care, that they are not alone in this journey and that we all strive for happy ending.

It does not work for everyone, and sometimes this anxiety of a couple can only be relieved when they finally hold a baby in their arms. But in this post I want to thank to all the couples who have already gone through the surrogacy program with Successful Parents Agency and landed back home with a precious gift of life. You did it and it was your trust and persistence and irreversible hope that helped us all along the way.

Don’t be shy and pass it on.

Princess baby girl born to the German-Romanian couple!
12.05.2021

Oh, she is cute, isn’t she? Like “Hey guys, no pandemy could ever be an obstacle for me seeing my Mom and Dad!” And it’s true, how can one say “no” to the beautiful desire to become parents? ;)

This time the lucky couple is from Germany, and they have already left home with their little daughter. The German embassy is very detailed and scrupulous in documents before giving the green light, but at the same time if a couple abides by the rules, everything goes very well.

We wish the newly-made parents good luck and many happy years together, and we invite you to spread the word about the fact that surrogacy is safe, legal and ethical, if you do it with the right partner and if you do it with an open heart.

Best,

Yuliya, Olga and all Successful Parents Team

Pregnancy ongoing for the couple from Germany!
02.12.2020

Germany is a progressive country and it is hard to argument with this. About 10 years ago it was very difficult (near to impossible) to register a baby born within the frames of a surrogacy program, in the embassy of Germany in Ukraine. Back then surrogacy was considered something weird in Europe and even most progressive countries looked down at it.

Times change, however, and nowadays noone is surprized by a surrogacy arrangement anymore. More and more couples from Germany address surrogacy nowadays as soon as it is legal and nicely organized. No one will argument that either ;)

We are happy to congratulate yet another German couple today, they are now expectant parents as their surrogate mother safely moved onto her second trimester. Spring is a wonderful time to come to Kyiv, they surely can’t wait ;)

Pregnancy confirmed for two couples from Cyprus!
30.11.2020

It is so fun and weird sometimes when you see how totally different couples, without of any knowledge of each other, choose surrogate mothers with similar characteristics, have very similar fertility history, have the embryos transfers at the same day and finally have both pregnancies confirmed at the same time, both with one fetus stably developing!

How come mother nature’s ways are so unique and intriguing? Have you ever encountered stranger people who seem to be so much in line with your own life path?

That happened to me several times in my own life and the feeling you have when you learn there are so much in common between you is amazingly astonishing.

In our work we see these similarities often, and some might say it is just a coincidence, but some will see invisible treads that might somehow unite people from different parts of the world with this subtle feeling of happiness.

Congratulations to both our couples and we with them smooth pregnancies ;)

Good start of the week to all of us

To transfer two or not to transfer two?
24.11.2020

It is a common situation that evolves regularly in the work of our Agency, but for the past several weeks it was raised three times in a row by three different couples of ours (from USA, Portugal and Poland). So I decided it is worth a post :)

All three couples started their second surrogacy programs with us about one year after having their first kids with the help of our surrogate mothers.

All three couples had one child as a result of their first programs.

And when it came closer to the embryos transfer in frames of their second programs, they tried to ask me to make a forecast: what happens if they transfer one or two embryos, how big is the probability of twins in case we transfer two and what are the chances of pregnancy if they decide to transfer only one embryo.

The most interesting thing is that after talking to all three couples I could sense the deep desire to have twins, but it was really suppressed by various factors: financial difficulties on raising three kids, concerns on the medical side of the twin pregnancy etc.

Each conversation lasted at least 40 minutes and as much as I gave my all to answer all questions and clarify all the doubts, I still cannot give any forecast, because it is always a God’s will after the embryos transfer, and no one can predict how the pregnancy will go.

Such conversations remind me of how important the job we are doing is and how careful and supportive we must always be to those who are seeking for our help.

In the end all three couples had to make their own decisions, based on their beliefs and hopes, anxiety and doubts. You can try and guess their choices. But no matter how each pregnancy will be developing, let’s wish them luck again and keep our fingers crossed for them.

Baby girl born for the couple from Poland!
11.11.2020

A.W. and T.W. are now parents of a totally cute princess baby girl!

She was born a few weeks ago with the help of a surrogate mother. The whole program was accompanied by Successful Parents Agency team and was a total success!

I remember meeting this couple in Warsaw around 1,5 years ago, during one of my trips to Poland. Among other couples who had questions on how surrogacy works in Ukraine, I met A.W. and T.W. and the meeting happened to take place in a shopping center as I had pretty tight schedule. A.W. was very sad and when talking about her story she was shaking, and tears came from her eyes non-stop. Seeing couples who come to us devastated and in total despair is one thing that I have to face in my work a lot, and each time it is heart-breaking experience. Every moment like that I want to hug a woman and share my certainty and hope with her, but it is impossible until we fulfill the promises we make at our Agency: that there is always a happy end on the go, just keep fighting some more, and we’ll help you through this journey.

Several days ago, I was sitting next to A.W. and T.W. in our office and couldn’t take my eyes from A.W. She was holding her daughter in her arms all the 1,5 hours we talked, and she was virtually shining, saying jokes and smiling all the time – a Woman in all her beauty and charm.

Oh my God, I thought, she’s changed 360 degrees. And oh my God, I thought for maybe a hundredth time, I have my humble role in that change, what a cool thing to feel!

The couple returned back to Poland safely after receiving the passport for their daughter from a Polish embassy in Kyiv, we send them our blessings and congratulations once again :)

God bless your whole family and may happiness always reign your household!

Sincerely,

Olga, Valeria and all Successful Parents Team

SM pregnant for the German couple!
29.10.2020

R.M.M. and D.M. from Germany are impatiently expecting as their surrogate mother crossed the 1st trimester line and is feeling perfectly well. The genetic screenings that our surrogate mothers always do during the pregnancy help learn in the very early term if the fetus is developing normally. Whether it will be a boy or a girl, the most important for the baby is to be healthy.

Our first and foremost goal is to ensure the smooth pregnancy and the most comfortable conditions for the SM and the baby, but it is also our aim to make sure that the outcome of each program is a healthy baby and happy parents.

P.S. Ukraine is accepting foreign couples if they come for a medical program. Contact us to learn more.

A cute “hello” from one of our Portuguese babies ☺️
11.08.2020

Around a month ago a cute baby girl was born to A.M.R. and M.N.R.N. from Portugal, with the help of their surrogate mother in Ukraine. Their travel to Ukraine was quite something as they had to travel back when flights were still shut down, and it was quite a challenge for both them and our Agency.

Such immense pleasure to be a part of someone’s joy, you know? I guess I’m saying it too many times and you’ve got used to it, but it is truly so. I even have the cutest video ever from the happy Mommy, and it is the ocean of cuteness seeing her cuddling with her little one. I cannot share it here as it is too private, but such happy moments make us believe again and again in the great mission we are all part of.

P.S. The parents also sent us a nice testimonial that is available on our testimonials page, come see: https://successful-parents.com/main/testimonials

 God bless the family!

Twins born to the Portuguese couple
10.07.2020

Twins is always a double blessing, do you agree? I’ve been wanting twins myself, and opinions divided: some were saying it is super cute and other were saying that it is super hard.

Well, both are right I guess, but all our couples with twins say that the double happiness is still there ;)

Look how beautiful these pretty angels are, aren’t they? They were born with the help of a surrogate mother for S.P. and R.F. from Portugal (names shortened for confidentiality reasons) a couple of days ago. It was a long journey for the couple, but it resulted so beautifully that maybe only these last exciting days of expectancy will be left in their memories as most vivid.

And of course, the very minute when they could finally hold the babies in their arms!

Once more and again: our work here, for all our team, is so much rewarded when we feel that one more story has come to a happy ending (or happy beginning? LOL) with our help.

God bless the new family, and all the best from us!

Olga, Valeria and all Successful Parents Team

14-days quarantine lifted for foreigners.
03.07.2020

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued the resolution #522 dated 25th of June 2020 stating the following updates to the quarantine and observation rules for foreigners in Ukraine:

Foreigners arriving to Ukraine for any reason may NOT be subject to 14-days quarantine in case the COVID-19 test done in the first several hours upon arrival turns out negative.

Foreigners must still have insurance covering their expenses and treatment in Ukraine IN CASE test turns out to be positive.

COVID-19 test can be done in either DILA or SYNEVO labs (present in Kyiv in sufficient representation). That means that once it is needed you are welcome to come to Ukraine within the frames of your program.

We hope this helps :)))
